Saw a bad trend today in the auctions. Seller posted 5 shells with no reserve. Sold them for about 3300 gold. I tried to bid them up but wasn't going to pay retail for something that I can farm.

I'm with Kvndoom. Let's keep the price at 1000 gold. Anyone benefiting from these builds, please don't dump cheap shells on the marketplace.

Quick question, what's the Worms' Elemental Resistance like? Been a good while since I fought any and am wondering if it would be worth investing in another sword for the job. And farming the desert seems a bit more entertaining than the bloody IDS runs, easy but you spend all day running to and fro and not enough time punching things

Wurms have a slimiar AL vs elements as thier AL vs physical. Very high. Thats why most builds here use armor ignoring attacks, and/or repeatedly apply conditions.

i got a question do wurms only appear by the dunes mission place or are some inthe arid sea and got to say i like the first build kvndoom the best got 3shells in a row like 2 min ago i tried the w/mes but to much upkeep for and not enough energy

i got to say im loving this build kill fairly quick like 1-2 min to kill one and this is the product of just 4 runs and man 3 wurms at once is not fun really hard

Ive got the Enchanted bit done now ok. I was just doing a Dunes run killing one wurm here one wurm there and then wam! Two wurms pop up... So on goes Doylak and Whatch Yourself to soften the blows... Or so I thought. I tryed Glads Def but they still broke through that! I got owned...

What do you guys use as a build to kill both wurms?

Easy way to kill more then one.
Healing Prayers: 10
Tactics: 16
Swordsmanship: 9 (For the Req of Sword)
Strength: Everything else

Gladiator's Defense
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Sprint
Bonetti's Defense
Healing Breeze (I never use it, just I don't like to switch from my griffon Farming build... I'll switch somthing more useful some time.)
Mending
Live Vicariously

use the first build to kill 2 at once its easy but if 3 pop out at once well then your dead lol i had it happen to me 3 times already

use a 55hp monk and killem with soj, balthasars aura and symbol of wrath within seconds

doesnt matter if 1 or 3all go down at once

Even if you do get 20 shells in a hard days work.... or lets even say you have an outstanding day and get 30..... thats only 20-30k per day... I can make that per Hour solo-farming with my necro.... either in uw, fow, oro, griffins, hydras, or even rune farming I average more than that... and if you just prefer farming with your tank... i still make more farming ettins, in SF, or IDS farming...

I dunno why everyone likes to farm these.... only time i farmed them was to get 5 for a shield i wanted... otherwise.. you can make alot more money in other ways.... don't get me wrong... its a very nice build, just not the best way to make money...

Oh and if you really are persistent on farming these things, instead of selling them for 1k each... get Crimpson Carapiece shield from collecter, takes 5 shells, thats 5k... and i have been able to sell them between 5-10k.... possible to make more of a profit at least

i used to solo farm griffs before this for like 5 hrs when im playin and i never used to make 20-30k per hr farming griffs first day with the shells i made 25k i know thats not alot but its a whole lot more then i made solo farming griffs

No need to bump a farming post. All of the good ones are in the Important Warrior post sticky. The reason it dropped was not due to it suffering from popularity. Many people view it every day.
